Stafford County, Virginia
CMMC Level 2 for suppliers on the I-95 corridor.
Capital Cyber takes small and mid-sized defense contractors in Stafford County through CMMC Level 2, on-site. Marine Corps Base Quantico spans Stafford, Prince William, and Fauquier counties, and the DFARS clause does not change at the county line.
Stafford County sponsored the Joint Land Use Study it ran with Prince William and Fauquier counties and Marine Corps Base Quantico, and was its fiscal agent. The county's page for that study calls the base The Crossroads of the Marine Corps
and the I-95 and Route 1 corridor one of the fastest growing areas in the Commonwealth
.
What happens to compliance when a contractor grows?
A growing contractor adds people, laptops and cloud accounts faster than it writes them down. Under Level 2, every one of those that touches CUI sits inside the boundary, belongs on the asset inventory, and has to be described in the System Security Plan. A gap assessment finds the ones that were added and never recorded, before an assessor does.
Whether Level 2 applies at all is decided by your contract, not by us and not by your zip code. If a clause flows Controlled Unclassified Information down to you, the 110 controls follow. If it does not, we will say so.
Further out is not further down the list
We are in Leesburg, so Stafford is a real drive and we are not pretending otherwise. What we will not do is price the distance as expertise. The assessment is the same $5,000 for most small and mid-sized contractors that it is anywhere else.
We are not an Authorized C3PAO and we do not certify anyone. We find the gaps, write the plan, and stay while it closes.
